I've found my Idol!

You must know Etsy, but did you know that there is a woman called Kati who crochets like an angel. Her webshop Luna's Crafts in Etsy.com sells fantastically made amigurumis.

Have you watched the great HBO serie Game of Thrones? I have to admit that I haven't yet but I have been listening all the WoWs ja Hurrays for a months now. Kati made a Game of Thrones amiguri collection. Unbelievable!

In Finland, Finnish broadcasting company Yle is showing the second season at the moment so I can't watch it. Feel free to tell your thoughts about the show. I'm still waiting my moment to see it from the beginning.

The Start of Winterfell Crocheted Doll Set is already sold, but you admire her other work by seeing her Etsy site.

How would you like your eggs done, Madam?

It's Easter. Time to do some Easter crafts and eat a lot of chocolate eggs. Have you done any Easter crafts already? If you have, pls put a link to your work to the commentary section.

Here's how Lizi's Handmade Factory sees the Easter eggs: as an Angry Birds eggs! The blog includes a crochet pattern so you can do your own AB egg.

While eating chocolate eggs you can try to do your own Sunny side up crochet egg. I just finished mine.

Happy Easter!

Last post to my old blog

If you happen to be a Finnish blog reader or can understand Finnish, go to Yle Olotila and read the original post. This is the new blog that I gave birth to when finishing the old one.

For the rest of you, I can only say that it is a small retrospective to my crochet work. I've made some Totoros (Blues and whites), two Star Wars characters, couple of Finnish politicians and some Mario Mushrooms and others.

My present work is with crochet food. Here you have some test bites. I will feed you more later!

Hello there!

Internet is full of great, handy people. I'd like to think I'm one of them. At least I'm trying, and I encourage you to try, even if you don't see yourself as a very handy person. Just go ahead!

This is a very easy learning video to start with:

I started blogging in Finnish with Huumorivirkkaajan päiväkirja in 2011. Now is my time to practice some English while doing my silly crochet works. I'm also gonna give you a tour of my past crocheting.

Thanks for reading, stay tuned!
